JAN 22 - SAN ANTONIO, CHILE (Embark

One of the busiest ports on the west coast of South America, San Antonio is the port gateway to the modern city and capital of Chile, Santiago. (Embark: 5:00 PM)

Spend your first day at sea exploring all the Azamara Quest has to offer in activities, pampering, dining and entertainment.

Puerto Montt is a busy port and capital of Chile’s Lake District. Visit the beach, dine on fresh seafood, or opt to visit the nearby volcanoes. (8:00 AM to 6:00 PM)

Looking more like Norway than Northern Patagonia, this area invites you to taste its cuisine and wines, or ride horseback into nature. (1:00 PM to 7:00 PM)

Lounge the days away poolside or up your fitness routine in the exercise facility.

(Overnight) Another popular gateway and busy port city, Punta Arenas is a crucial commercial trading center for Patagonia. Visit Magellan Strait Park or book an excursion to Magellan Island to see the wildlife, especially the penguins.  (7:00 AM to 8:00 AM following day)

Enjoy steaks in the restaurant, Prima C, followed by a thrilling show in the Cabaret Lounge.

Ushuaia is at the very tip of Argentina. Enjoy sightseeing at Ensenada Bay or visit the eerie End Of The World Prison Museum.(8AM to 8PM)

Another day to relax and explore the possibilities of Azamara Quest. Be sure to take in the intimate evening entertainment at the Living Room.

Explore this remote spot which houses few residents but hundred of thousands of sheep and a million penguins depending on the time of year. Five species of penguins live here: Rockhoppers, Magellenic, King, Gentoo and Macaroni. (7:30 AM to 5:00PM)

Make your most of the last two days at sea.

Imagine European charm in this busy city and center for Paraguay. Modern architecture with old world touches, explore the streets and dine in a streetwalk café. Alternatively choose from a winery tour with workshop or a visit to a nearby ranch with a BBQ lunch. ( 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM)

(Overnight) What can we say- it’s Buenos Aires! You have a day and night to experience this cosmopolitan city with its markets, chic boutiques, fine cuisine ( steak and wine!), and exciting nightlife. Don’t forget to leave time to pack as you disembark in the morning to fly home unless, of course, you’ve arranged for a post-cruise land stay. (Arrive Feb 5 at 1 PM;  Disembarkation on Feb 6)
