Regent Seven Seas Explorer Review
Ship Review
We were welcomed onboard Regent’s most luxurious ship ever built, Seven Seas Explorer, for a preview voyage to experience all that Regent has to offer.
From the moment you step onboard and glimpse the stunning crystal chandelier in the lobby, to the small touches of elegant lighting and the amazing art collection displayed throughout the ship, you realize how much thought and attention has been paid to the design of this stunning new addition to the Regent Fleet!
Seven Seas Explorer has only 375 suites ranging from a Verandah Suite category H at 307 square feet, all the way up to the lavish Regent Suite, at over 4400 square feet that consists of 2 ½ bathrooms, a full service spa suite, 3 walk in closets and a wraparound balcony. All Suites are well organized with lovely plush towels, high end toiletries and walk in closets in all but category H suites. Storage is not an issue with an overabundance of drawers and shelves throughout the closet, bathroom and suite.
The well trained, attentive staff were wonderful! Every detail taken care of, and no request too big!
Although we were only onboard for 2 days, we indulged in dining at Prime 7, The Compass Rose main restaurant, and were thoroughly tempted by the al fresco dining at the Poolside Grill! Along with old favorites like Prime 7, and Sette Mari at La Veranda, new to Regent is the Chartreuse Restaurant featuring French fare and Pacific Rim offering Pan Asian cuisine. And as always, only a reservation required, but never a fee to dine!
Elevate your onboard enrichment in the brand new Culinary Arts Kitchen, with 18 cooking stations that rival some of the best cooking schools in Europe and offers an array of classes.
Intimate onboard lounges offer everything from welcoming spaces to meet new friends, and include entertainment ranging from a pianist, string combos, dance bands, DJ’s and Karaoke – something for everyone!
So, for anyone celebrating that special something, this ship is for you with the most inclusive luxury experience offered. Everything from gratuites, to beverages to shore excursions are included.
Sadly, after our 2 days onboard it was time to say goodbye to the wonderful Seven Seas Explorer, but we’ll be back……
“Anticipate an unforgettable journey to the world’s greatest destinations where everything is included, without exception and without compromise. You really can have it all aboard Regent Seven Seas Cruises.”
