SEE THE WORLD ON A CRUISE
Last month, I wrote about seeing the world by jet travel. This month, how about seeing the world on a cruise!
Believe it or not, world cruises are quite popular.
Here are six world cruises for you to consider.
Seabourn Sojourn: 140 night 2023 World Cruise. Departs January 6, 2023. Miami to Barcelona
Coral Princess: 107 night 2023 World Cruise. May 31, 2023 Roundtrip Auckland.
Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas: 274 night 2023-2024 Ultimate World Cruise. December 10, 2023. Roundtrip Miami.
Azamara Onward: 155 night 2024 Full World Voyage. January 5, 2024. Ft Lauderdale to Barcelona.
Seven Seas Mariner: 132 night Navigate the World 2024 World Cruise. Roundtrip Miami
Crystal Serenity: 89 night 2024 World Cruise. January 21st 2024. Los Angeles to Rome
There may be some cancellations for world cruises in 2022. If you don’t want to wait until 2023 and 2024, give me a call and I’ll check on availability for 2022. The cruise lines also offer shorter segments on the world cruises.
On another note, I just returned from a West Coast sailing on Royal Caribbean’s beautiful Navigator of the Seas. This ship was completely renovated in 2019. This is the first time in eleven years Royal Caribbean has placed a ship sailing from Los Angeles. It’s easy for us in the Pacific NW to get to Los Angeles and great for both kids and adults!
A negative Covid test is required 48 hours prior to boarding. Royal Caribbean and other cruise lines are allowing the Rapid Antigen test results to board. I decided to order the Covid testing kit that Royal Caribbean offers. The cost for two tests is $70.00. I ordered it from the Royal Caribbeans website and it arrived in a few days.
Do not open the test kit until you are ready to take the test. I took the test 48 hours prior to boarding the cruise in the comforts of my home. I called the number on the kit. A lab technician asked to use my camera and microphone on my computer. He watched me open the test and instructed me how to proceed. Fifteen minutes later I had my results and received an email showing my negative results needed for boarding.
I didn’t mind paying $35.00 per person to lessen the anxiety of waiting for the lab results from a drug store.
Give us a call. We will take the anxiety out of travel for you!
